Meet Martin

Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Founder of More Soul Therapy

I have been working in private practice since 2013, supporting adults and young people through emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, life transitions and questions of meaning and purpose. My approach is depth-oriented and integrates counselling, psychotherapy, coaching and supervision, informed by trauma, attachment, family systems, psychodynamic thinking and a psycho-spiritual perspective, within a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Why More Soul?

More Soul Therapy emerged from my growing belief that healing is not simply about reducing distress. Whilst therapy can help us recover from anxiety, trauma, grief and relationship difficulties, it can also become a journey towards greater self-awareness, meaning, authenticity and purpose.

Professional Background

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in education, leadership and professional development in the UK and internationally. Living and working in Sri Lanka, Brazil, New Zealand and India exposed me to diverse perspectives on wellbeing, culture, spirituality and personal growth.

A Personal Note

Over the years I have become increasingly interested in what helps people not only heal, but also flourish. Many clients arrive seeking relief from emotional pain and leave with a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships and their purpose. It is a privilege to accompany people on that journey and to witness the resilience, courage and potential that often emerges through the therapeutic process.
